A Small Recollection of Events

Okay, so five of us- DarkShadows, Bunny, Wally, Pandora, and I- were the ones first contacted by Eva Najaro, a 29-year-old Melancholy. She first told us that she needed help helping the Weeping Willow- she wants us to recover five of her friends. She gave us three names to go off with: Lilian Wonderfield, Frank Jones, and Jessica Yale. She said that they were being hunted by beings known as the Altered. Oh, and she lost an arm to the Flesh Angel.

Christ. The Altered. How the *fuck* do I explain the Altered? Let's put it like this. The Slender Man is in a category of itself and itself alone, and perhaps it became lonely, but I wouldn't know, because to look into the mind of the Slender Man is to look into-

so anyways, he collected some proxies or just people he has been stalking over the years and he has been running- experiments- on them. Horrible, twisted, eldritch experiments that twisted their bodies and burnt their minds. The things stem from partially-benevolent beings, like the above-named Weeping Willow, to twisted sick piles of evil and debauchery- like the Doll, the Flesh Angel, the Keeper of Sands, damn the list goes ON and ON and I don't want to list all of them especially if calling them a "sick pile of evil and debauchery" has the potential to piss them off.

ANYWAYS then Eva dropped a bombshell on us. She's doing this so she can revert the Altered back to human form and dropped possibly a BIGGER bombshell by telling us that she's already done this to The Egg. She's apparently a girl named Melissa.

So the three names were NOT easy to track down but Eva eventually found us Lilian's Twitter and a talk with Brahian later showed us that she was kidnapped and stuck in Toronto and then a girl named Neva showed up. Neva and Eva, yeah get that laugh out of your systems. Neva is a Sentimental and dammit I have to explain Sentimentals too.

Sentimentals are the emotions of eldritch beings ripped out of them. It's only been seen happening with the Slender Man but I'm guessing other Fears can. ANYWAYS Neva's the Sentimental of Jealousy and quickly expressed sadness and distrust for Eva. She thinks that she's a Melancholy that, for lack of a better term, completely snapped and decided to humanify proxies in a bout of revenge. Or she has some kind of ulterior motive.

I think TVTropes would call Eva a "Well-Intentioned Extremist."
